3 Years of Transformation, Pertamina Upholds AKHLAK Value

Jakarta, June 21, 2023 - Throughout three years of organizational transformation, PT Pertamina (Persero) has remained committed to upholding the AKHLAK work Value (Amanah, Kompeten, Harmonis, Loyal, Adatif, Kolaboratif).

To further enhance the commitment to this Value, the company held the "Pertamina AKHLAK Festival 2023" event to commemorates the three-year organizational transformation journey that began in 2020.

The event was attended by the Minister of SOE, Erick Thohir, along with President Commissioner Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and the board of commissioners, President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, along with the board of directors of Pertamina Holding and Subholding. The event was also attended by 3000 Pertamina employees at the Senayan Indoor Tennis Court on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (Persero), explained that the event is expected to serve as a unifying force for all Pertamina Wira (Perwira) after the Holding and Subholding establishment.

"The AKHLAK Festival can also shape the mindset of ONE (Onward to Next level of Excellence) Pertamina Value," Fadjar said.

He further stated that the event would showcase various internalizing and implementing efforts of the AKHLAK work Value within the Pertamina Group.

"For Pertamina, AKHLAK serves as the identity and implementation of a work Value that supports the sustainable performance improvement of Pertamina and its subsidiaries," he added.

According to Fadjar, with the AKHLAK work Value guidance from the Ministry of SOE, they have successfully implemented ONE Pertamina to support the company's transformation and positively impact the performance improvement of Pertamina.

"With AKHLAK, we can realize the shareholders' aspiration to become a leading global energy company with a market value of 100 billion US dollars," Fadjar explained.
