TGTP is an annual event organized by Pertamina to celebrate National Children's Day. This event aims to educate participants about Pertamina's business intricacies.
"I have always been fascinated by aviation and want to become a pilot who can fly an aircraft. Hence, I came to this event to learn more, especially about Pelita Air," explained Evan, one of the participants, with shining eyes.
Kicking off the event, Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, conveyed this year's TGTP theme: "Sky Is Not The Limit." The theme is intended to inspire the young generation, as the nation’s future leaders, to have big dreams and high spirits in pursuing their aspirations.
"We organize this activity to provide inspiration and benefits, particularly about the aviation world, as we have Pelita Air as Pertamina's subsidiary. We want the participants to understand that Pertamina works to bring energy to society and provide positive energy to the children, the nation's future generation," added Fadjar.
The event received appreciation from parents, including Indah Merlina, a Pertamina Officer. "I am delighted that my child could participate in this activity. They can make new friends, gain more experience, and socialize. Additionally, this event increases awareness that Pertamina is not only involved in the oil and gas business but also other activities, such as aviation," she said.
TGTP also featured professionals from the aviation industry, such as pilots, flight attendants, and other crew members. Furthermore, the participants received education from three speakers, namely Helmi Tanthawi, a Pertamina Patra Niaga’s officer, who explained the management and distribution of aviation fuel, female pilot, Mellisa Anggiarti, and Aviation Industry Content Creator, Yoga Gita Pratama.
