Realizing the Sustainable HSSE Cultural Commitment, Elnusa Holds a SUPREME Audit
Jakarta, October 5, 2022 - PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) conducted an HSSE Management System Audit based on SUPREME (Sustainability Pertamina Expectations For HSSE Management Excellence) 2022. The opening of the audit took place in the NHO Room 2nd Floor, Graha Elnusa (03/10), led directly by the President Director of Elnusa, John Hisar Simamora, followed by Pertamina Auditors, the Board of Directors of Elnusa, and the Management of Elnusa. This activity will last for four days, October 3-7, 2022, and will be carried out by All Champion Supreme Elnusa from all related functions.
SUPREME is a management system that integrates world-class best HSSE practices in a structured and systematic manner at the corporate, directorate, operating units, and Pertamina subsidiary levels while ensuring that these HSSE practices contribute to overall business sustainability. The 2022 SUPREME Audit is the second time that Elnusa has participated, which previously started in 2020.
Moreover, SUPREME is carried out to ensure that the HSSE Management System carried out at Elnusa is executed following the SUPREME basis. In addition, with this activity, the organization's ability to manage operational risk effectively has a generative HSSE culture and is oriented towards the SUPREME process fulfillment. Not only that, Elnusa is also expected to achieve better results than the previous SUPREME Audit results.
President Director of Elnusa, John Hisar Simamora, said that SUPREME was carried out to determine something beyond the target. In implementing HSSE, we must do it beyond the world's standards and expectations. In the practice, HSSE is also closely related to operational activities. Therefore, as an oil and gas service company, such as fuel distribution, shipping, IT, construction, drilling, and so on, HSSE is the main value we put foremost to our clients.
I would like to thank Elnusa for the scores achievement last year. Hopefully, there will be an increase in the scores achieved this year. “We need input for the HSSE Team so that it can be even better. With good input, it will lead us in a better direction. I hope that SUPREME Elnusa can be beyond expectation so that the target can be achieved. In addition, Elnusa can also find out what is needed to be improved to become world-class and become even greater,” explained John.
Elnusa in SUPREME 2022 involves approximately 50 champions from all organizational functions at Elnusa who are expected to fulfill SUPREME requirements following the expectations in each process. Activities will also be carried out with direct visits to the agreed site (Site Physical Tour). Through this activity, Elnusa's involvement is expected to provide positive improvements to expectations fulfillment in each process and in the end, will produce better results for Elnusa's progress.**
