Jakarta, August 1, 2022 – Pertamina, through Sub Holding Integrated Marine Logistics (SH IML) continues, to commits, in encouraging the national industry's ability to play an active role in the national upstream oil and gas development. This commitment was realized by Pertamina in the 2022 National Capacity Forum (Forkapnas) organized by the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) and Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS), Wednesday (27/7).
PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) and PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), as SH IML representatives, conveyed various opportunities for the national industry to synergize. PIS and PTK present information related to the company's business and operations, starting from the 11 global routes achievements, company milestones, EDTP technology in shipping utilization, oil spill handling by PTK, green shipping, and others.
Head of SKK Migas, Dwi Soetjipto, said the 2022 Forkapnas is expected to be a communication forum between Regional Governments, Upstream Oil and Gas Business Actors, and Supporting Service Companies both national and local companies to create a multiplier effect.
Commerce Director of PIS, Arief Sukmara, stated that PIS' participation in the 2022 Forkapnas is expected to provide benefits for national economic growth. PIS also opens opportunities for collaboration with KKKS and other supporting industries.
"This is PIS' first participation in a national capacity forum, and we are delighted with the many participants and stakeholders who attended this event," said Arief Sukmara.
President Director of PTK, Nepos Pakpahan, added that the 2022 Forkapnas provides an opportunity for PTK to inform the variety of services provided by the company, as well as capture opportunities for collaboration with national companies participating in Forkapnas.
