Jakarta, November 4, 2022 - Pertamina Patra Niaga, Subholding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) who received the mandate to provide fuel to remote corners of the country continues to play an active role in supporting Government programs, especially related to improving the economy and equitable access to equitable energy throughout Indonesia. One of these supports is reflected in the One-Price Fuel Distribution Agency construction in Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) areas which have been started since 2017.
President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Alfian Nasution, said this commitment would continue in 2022. From the 92 target locations assigned, 69 One Price Fuel distribution agencies have been built until early November 2022. Until 2024, Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to realizing 573 One Price Fuel distributors.
“Pertamina has built 390 One-Price Fuel distribution agencies spread across 123 districts throughout Indonesia. From the 123 districts, 54 of them are in the 3T area. The One Price Fuel distribution agency inauguration is the starting point for Pertamina's services to the people in the area. In the future, Pertamina will continue to ensure that distribution to the One Price Fuel distribution agency runs well, on time, in the right quantity, and with the right quality to realize energy justice," explained Alfian.
From the 69 One-Price Fuel distribution agencies that have been built, Pertamina Patra Niaga, with the Downstream Regulatory Agency (BPH) of Migas, today inaugurated the first phase of 47 One-Price Fuel distribution agencies spread across several provinces. These include 2 in West Nusa Tenggara, 10 in East Nusa Tenggara, 1 in West Sulawesi, 2 in North Sulawesi, 8 in Central Sulawesi, 5 in Maluku, 6 in North Maluku, 10 in Papua, and 3 in West Papua. The next inauguration will take place at the end of November.
“First, we would like to express our appreciation to the governor and regional heads for facilitating the One Price Fuel distribution agency. This One Price Fuel is a form of success in providing easy access to fuel with the same price to 3T areas throughout Indonesia,” continued Alfian.
Behind the great benefits, Alfian also explained the big challenges in the energy distribution process for the One Price Fuel distribution agency, especially those located in the 3T area. It is not unusual if this fuel must be distributed through various transportation modes, be it land, water, and air before arriving at the One Price Fuel distribution agency.
“In the One Price Fuel distribution process, it is common to change transportation modes up to four to five times until the fuel reaches the distribution agency and the community. In fact, in certain areas such as Puncak Jaya Papua, it can reach six or even eight times. However, this is Pertamina Patra Niaga's commitment to carry out the mandate to ensure energy access for the community," said Alfian.
Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati, said that BPH Migas has the duty and responsibility to ensure and guarantee energy distribution, especially affordable fuel availability in the country.
"From the 92 points target for the One Price Fuel distribution agency in 2022, 69 points have been realized. It means there are still targets that we need to achieve. Thank you to all parties involved for supporting the One Price Fuel Program implementation. Hopefully, the One Price Fuel's benefits can be felt directly by the community so that it can move the economy in the 3T region and become the embodiment of equitable energy for Indonesian people," said Erika.**
