Surabaya, June 27, 2023 - To enhance the comfort and smoothness of Eid al-Adha 1444 H, Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus ensures fuel and LPG availability are sufficient.
Ahad Rahedi, the Area Manager of Communication, Relation & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus, stated that from June 26 to June 29, 2023, they have added stock in several districts and cities across Jatimbalinus based on the specific needs of each region after coordinating with the local government. "To support Eid al-Adha 1444 H smooth celebration, Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus has added over 1.5 million 3kg LPG cylinders. This amount is an addition to the daily supply of 5,792 metric tons, equivalent to over 1.9 million 3kg LPG cylinders. With this addition, we hope the community can safely and comfortably carry out their activities during the holiday," said Ahad.
The additional 1.5 million 3kg subsidized LPG cylinders distribution is divided into several regions as follows:
Pertamina urges all elements of society to monitor the subsidized 3kg LPG cylinders consumption and ensure that they are used only by eligible individuals so that the subsidies can be targeted appropriately in the LPG sector. "Since this is a subsidy, we expect the various parties’ active participation in monitoring the distribution, especially outside Pertamina'sofficial depots or retailers," added Ahad.
Currently, Pertamina is conducting gradual socialization and data collection for the 3kg LPG cylinders targeted subsidy at official Pertamina depots, which function as the final-level official LPG distributors directly serving individual consumers. "People who need it can purchase directly from the official 3kg LPG depots to obtain the highest retail price (HET) according to respective regional governor decision. Information about Pertamina's services, including the official depots' location, can be obtained through the Pertamina Call Center at 135," he added.
On the other hand, the fuel stock in the Jatimbalinus region at the time of this press release is 247,751 kiloliters for gasoline and 59,112 kiloliters for diesel. These amounts are confirmed to be sufficient and can support the average daily consumption of 17,200 kiloliters of gasoline and 11,589 kiloliters of diesel. "We ensure fuel stock availability at petrol stations is secure because, in addition to the holiday season, we have also anticipated tourist destinations," emphasized Ahad.
Fadjar Djoko Santoso, the Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, stated that Pertamina has digitized petrol stations and conducted socialization for subsidized fuel purchases through QR codes to ensure more accurate targeting. Pertamina has also conducted trials for using national ID cards to purchase subsidized 3kg LPG, ensuring that only eligible individuals can buy subsidized LPG.
"Pertamina guarantees fuel and LPG’s national stock are sufficient to support the community’s activities in celebrating Eid al-Adha 1444 H long holiday," said Fadjar.
