Jakarta, April 5, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero), through Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Western Java (JBB), has formed Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI) effective from April 1, 2023, to May 2, 2023, which is ready to secure the energy supply during the 2023 Eid al-Fitr homecoming period.
Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Western Java, Deny Djukardi, stated that besides ensuring the fuel and LPG stocks are sufficient, Pertamina also provides additional services during Ramadan 1444 H at petrol stations on the homecoming route.
"Along with the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) lifting, the estimated number of homecoming travelers in 2023 will increase significantly. Pertamina ensures that fuel and LPG needs are well fulfilled for all communities in DKI Jakarta, Banten, and West Java," explained Deny.
Deny added, "Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Western Java predicts that there will be an increase in the demand for fuel and LPG during the RAFI Task Force period. At least a 6 percent increase in Gasoline and an 11 percent decrease in Gasoil due to the limitation of freight transportation compared to the average sales in March 2023. It also considers the increase in private cars and motorcycles in the homecoming traffic."
Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Western Java, Eko Kristiawan, also conveyed that the 2023 Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force team is ready to secure the supply and distribution of fuel and LPG to meet the needs of the community in the Western Java region during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming period.
"Generally, the stock and distribution of fuel and LPG in Western Java are sufficient and running smoothly. Pertamina prepares additional stocks according to the average consumption projection for each product," said Eko.
For the Western Java region, the supply of fuel and LPG in the Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi area is channeled from the Integrated Terminal Jakarta. For Banten, it is located at Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal and Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal. Meanwhile, the West Java is located at Ujung Berung Fuel Terminal, Cikampek Fuel Terminal, Padalarang Fuel Terminal, Tasikmalaya Fuel Terminal, and Balongan Integrated Terminal.
Pertamina provides additional services to meet the needs of the community during the potential homecoming routes, including toll roads, tourist routes, and main routes, such as 12 Pertamina Siaga fuel kiosks, 3 Pertamina Siaga houses, 1 PTO (Mobile Dispenser), 115 motorcyclists, 71 Mobile Storage gas stations, 172 Siaga gas stations, 3 Mini clinics, and 1418 Siaga LPG agents.
Eko added that Pertamina also deployed 1646 petrol stations, 584 Pertashop, 1544 PSO LPG agents, and more than 47,000 PSO LPG base stations. These fuel distributors remain on standby to facilitate the community in obtaining fuel and LPG.
For stock resilience at Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB as of April 4, Gasoil has a 19-day resilience, while Gasoline has more than 18.3 days. 'With the increase in public consumption from the available stock, our stock resilience is still sufficient to face a surge in public consumption,' said Eko.
