Jakarta, March 1, 2024 - Pertamina and its subsidiary, Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE), have been awarded for their consistency and high commitment to new renewable energy, environmental, and sustainability issues publication. The awards were presented by Nusantara TV on Wednesday (28/2).
Pertamina and Pertamina NRE received The Most Sustainable Communication Company in the Mining and Energy category award. Nusantara TV collaborated with Binokular, a company engaged in media reporting research and social media conversation. The judging was based on three criteria: first, innovative programs, including the company's efforts to communicate sustainable programs. Second, communication performance, transparency of information, and management approach to the public regarding sustainability programs. Third, program impact, the impact of communicating the company's sustainability programs.
These three assessment parameters were formed by a panel of expert judges, including Prof. Deddy Mulyana, Ph.D., Professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran, Dr. Dian Agustine Nuriman, M.Ikom, IAPR, Founder and Principal Consultant of NAGARU Communication, Wahyu Muryadi, Special Staff to the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries for Communication and Public Policy, Sapto Anggoro, CEO of Binokular, and Members of the Press Council, as well as Don Bosco Selamun, and President Director & Director of News, Nusantara TV.
This award not only serves as proof of Pertamina's commitment and reputation in implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects in its business operations but also advocates and educates the public on sustainability issues and clean energy development. In their annual report and other publications, Pertamina elaborates in detail on their initiatives and achievements in environmental conservation and integrating sustainability principles into their operations.
