Contributing to the Advancement of the Energy Sector, Pertamina Group Wins 8 Soebroto Awards 2024
Jakarta, October 13, 2024 - As operational governance and performance across all business lines have improved, Pertamina has received recognition from stakeholders in the energy sector again. This time, the Pertamina Group won eight awards at the 2024 Soebroto Awards, organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
The Soebroto Awards 2024 is the highest accolade given by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to parties that have contributed to advancing the energy and mineral resources sector, based on evaluations conducted over the past year.
The awards ceremony, which took place in Jakarta on Thursday (10/10) during the 79th Anniversary of Mining and Energy, was attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, and the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that these awards further strengthen Pertamina's commitment as an energy company contributing to the advancement of the energy sector and serving the communities’ energy needs across nearly all regions of Indonesia.
"The Company strives to enhance human resource competencies to achieve the best performance, drive the energy industry, and ensure workplace safety, aiming for zero accidents," said Fadjar.
Fadjar added that the Soebroto Awards 2024 presented to the Pertamina Group complement the various awards received throughout 2024.
"The hard work of all management and employees has been recognized by stakeholders. This will motivate and inspire Pertamina to strengthen its strategic role in managing national energy and oil and gas," emphasized Fadjar.
The eight Soebroto Awards 2024 were presented to subsidiaries and operating units as follows:
- PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC) - Category: Zero Lost Work Time Due to Accidents, Subcategory: Upstream Oil and Gas Operations.
- Pertamina Hulu Mahakam - Category: Optimization of Gas Flaring Management in Upstream Oil and Gas Operations, Subcategory: Natural Gas Fields.
- PT Badak NGL - Category: Optimization of Gas Flaring Management in Downstream Oil and Gas Operations.
- PT Pertamina EP Limau Field - Category: Energy Management in Industry and Building, Subcategory: Special Innovation.
- PT PGN (Sale Operation Region II) - Category: Zero Lost Work Time Due to Accidents, Subcategory: Downstream Oil and Gas Operations.
- PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) - Category: Best Training and/or Certification for Business Entities (BU) / Permanent Establishments (BUT), Subcategory: Oil and Gas.
- PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) Unit Plaju - Category: Oil and Gas Safety Coaching, Subcategory: Downstream Oil and Gas Operations.
