Jakarta, June 16, 2024 - To ensure a smooth supply of energy during the 2024 Eid al-Adha holiday, the Board of Commissioners and the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) today conducted visits to various facilities in Jakarta and surrounding areas, accompanied by the President Director of Subholding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
The visit commenced with President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, inspecting the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Center Command (PIEDCC) at Grha Pertamina, accompanied by SVP Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center Ignatius Sigit Pratopo. During the visit, Nicke monitored Pertamina operations, from upstream production and refinery reliability to the flow of fuel and liquified petroleum gas (LPG) supply and distribution across Indonesia through real-time digital technology and data centers.
“From our observations, the national stock and the stock in each Pertamina marketing area are safe. Both fuel and LPG were well managed. So, InsyaAllah, everything can be managed well, and the public can celebrate Eid al-Adha peacefully, with safe travel and cooking with LPG,” Nicke explained.
Following this visit, Nicke joined the Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina (Persero) to visit the Integrated Terminal Jakarta (ITM) located in Plumpang, Tanjung Priok. The visit at ITM Plumpang was attended by the Chief Commissioner of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, the Independent Commissioner, Condro Kirono, and the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra, Niaga Riva Siahaan.
Simon emphasized the importance of visiting the Pertamina facilities to ensure energy availability during the Eid al-Adha long holiday. “This visit ensures the stock and infrastructure readiness to face Eid al-Adha. We are committed to ensuring energy availability for the public. Additionally, the Jakarta Terminal is crucial for national energy distribution,” Simon explained.
Pertamina ensures that fuel and LPG stocks are sufficient to meet the surge in demand during Eid al-Adha. “Fuel and LPG stocks are safe. We continuously ensure operational readiness and infrastructure to maintain optimal service to the public,” Simon stated.
During this visit, the Board of Commissioners and Directors of Pertamina appreciates the entire Pertamina team for their hard work in ensuring the readiness of national energy distribution. “We extend our highest appreciation to the entire Pertamina team for ensuring the readiness of energy stocks and distribution during Eid al-Adha,” Simon concluded.
The Integrated Terminal Jakarta Plumpang is part of the terminals network, including the Plumpang Fuel Terminal, Tanjung Priok Fuel Terminal, and Tanjung Priok LPG Terminal. These three integrated terminals ensure smooth energy distribution in West Java, serving more than 1,000 gas stations.
“We reviewed the filling locations and the digital systems monitoring all activities. It is crucial for maintaining transparency and preventing discrepancies,” Simon added.
Following the visit to ITM Plumpang, the tour continued with inspections at SPBU 31.143.01 on Jl Yos Sudarso, Sunter, Jakarta, and the Cikampek Fuel Terminal to observe the fuel readiness and distribution in West Java.
