Jakarta, August 6, 2024 - PT Pertamina (Persero) achieved the Enterprise Innovation Awards 2024 by the ASEAN Innovation Business Platform (AIBP). This award was received by Senior Vice President of Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (IEDCC), Ignatius Sigit Pratopo, during the AIBP Conference & Exhibition at The Ritz Carlton Mega Kuningan, Jakarta on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Senior Vice President of Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (IEDCC), Ignatius Sigit, Pratopo revealed this award is an appreciation for the company's innovation in digitizing energy distribution to all corners of the country.
"Pertamina has implemented the petrol stations digitization that significantly impacts Indonesia. Pertamina received an award in the Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) category," he said.
He added that Pertamina processes around 15 million subsidized fuel transaction data daily supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) so that it can be faster, more accurate, and more efficient.
"The application of AI exception signals to process transaction data from the digitalization of petrol stations implemented by Pertamina has resulted in significant cost avoidance for Pertamina and reduced deviations in the distribution of subsidized fuel," Sigit added.
He said that Pertamina will use a digital factory in all business lines from upstream to downstream and the new and renewable energy business in the future, thus providing added value to the company.
The award Pertamina received was carried out after an extensive judging process by various experts. Pertamina outperformed 113 companies and institutions in Southeast Asia to enter 12 finalists and finally won the 2024 Enterprise Innovation Awards.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, said that the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (PIEDCC) is an important part of the company's digital transformation to ensure that all Pertamina business processes run smoothly.
"Through PIEDCC, Pertamina can monitor in real-time the availability of energy throughout Indonesia and can take quick action to meet energy needs if there is a spike in fuel and LPG consumption," Fadjar said.
