Denpasar, July 13, 2024 - PT Pertamina (Persero) and InJourney fully support the success of Indonesia hosting the world's first Meet & Greet event and Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia (IndonesiaGP) parade. Indonesia is honored to be the only country hosting the Meet & Greet and Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia parade.
Attended by MotoGP riders from the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi, the event started with a parade from The Meru - Sanur, then to the Pertamina 54.803.31 petrol station on Sunset Road, and continued to the final destination at Mari Beach Club, Canggu, Bali today, Saturday (13/7).
The President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, stated that the Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia - MotoGP™ 2024 is a historic moment with the arrival of MotoGP™ stars.
"The success of today's Meet & Greet and Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia Parade is a testament to our commitment to organizing the Indonesian GP 2024 event," said Nicke.
Nicke added that this event not only strengthens Pertamina's commitment to developing motorsports in Indonesia but also serves as a platform to inspire the younger generation to pursue achievements in racing.
Building on this success, a similar parade will also be held in Mataram, Lombok, as part of the preparations for the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia - MotoGP™ 2024, which is entering its third season.
