From Innovation in Energy Services to K3 Compliance, These Are Awards Won by Elnusa Throughout 2022
Jakarta, February 9, 2023 - PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), a leading energy service company that provides total solutions and incorporated in Pertamina Upstream Subholding, continues to provide the best services. For a superior and optimal implementation of the various activities it carries out, Elnusa obtained a series of awards from various parties throughout 2022.
Jayanty Oktavia Maulina, Manager of Corporate Communications of Elnusa, explained that Elnusa was able to bring home more than 30 awards from various categories in several events last year. According to her, this achievement was due to all Elnusa Officers' hard work and synergy in carrying out their work.

Of the series of awards that Elnusa won in 2022, which is quite prestigious, is the Dharma Karya Muda award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) for Elnusa's success in the Cementing Services Business Unit on red and white Cement Slurry innovation to support drilling in the Mahakam Block shallow gas well, managed by Subholding Upstream Pertamina Regional 3 Zone 8 PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam.
Then Elnusa also won the "1st Place Winner EOR Field Achievement" at Vibrosesimic EOR in the 2022 EOR Festival held by the Oil and Gas Testing Center (Lemigas) Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Elnusa also won an award from the Best Syariah 2022-Investor Magazine event, where Elnusa, as the issuer of Phase I Sustainable Sukuk Ijarah I in 2020, was selected to receive an award as the Best 2022 Sukuk Ijarah.
In the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) field, Elnusa received a prestigious award from the Directorate General of Public Health, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia for the Occupational K3 and Health Protocols Implementation in the Ministry/SOEs/National Private Office Category. Moreover, there is the four stars - GOLD achievement at the World Safety Organization (WSO) Indonesia Safety Culture Award (WISCA) 2022, as well as received appreciation from PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) for achieving 1.6 million working hours without Lost Time Incident (LTI) on the Elnusa Modular Rig (EMR) Project, as well as 1.5 million working hours without Lost Time Incident (LTI) on the CTU Operation Project.
Elnusa also won an award for implementing Social & Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) in the Oil and Gas category with the title 'Action' Silver (TrenAsia ESG Excellence 2022). Furthermore, there are also four awards from the 2022 Human Capital on Resilience Award, namely: The Best Organization Structure, The Best Excellence in Workforce Flexibility and Mobility, The Most Resilience Company 2022, and The Best Leadership Development Focus on HC. The award was received by the Director of HR & General Affairs of Elnusa, Tenny Elfrida.
Apart from that, Elnusa also won the Silver Prize for Excellent Effort in Creating Invention(s) in “Improving the Company's Competitive Advantage in 3d Seismic Operations in Shallow & Transition Areas with Portable Smart Nodal Deployment System Innovation in PT Pertamina EP Regional, 3D X-Ray Seismic Survey (Exhibited at the SIIF 2022, Seoul Korea, Malaysia Innovation Association). Elnusa also won the Best Role Model on Data Integration from the Human Capital HSH Award.
From the 2022 Upstream Improvement Innovation Award (UIIA) event organized by PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) as Subholding Upstream Pertamina, Elnusa won 11 awards, including four awards in the Platinum category, six Gold, one Silver, and received several other special nominations.
Meanwhile, for awards to individuals in the management ranks, Elnusa is proud of John Hisar Simamora's success as the President Director of Elnusa, who won the Best CEO Oil & Gas Services Company award from the Energy & Mining Editor Society (E2S) Award 2022. At the same event, Jayanty Oktavia Maulina won Best Public Relations Manager Oil & Gas Services Company. Meanwhile, from the Appreciation Day 2nd Anniversary held by The Iconomics Media, Elnusa won the Best Corporate Secretary and Top Good Corporate Governance (GCG) awards. There is another Best First-Time Manager Program Bronze Category from the 2022 Employee Experience Awards throughout Southeast Asia.
Several other awards include the Most Innovative Energy and Mining Company award for The Development of Integrated and Sophisticated Digital Systems in the Energy and Mining Industry category from Warta Ekonomi "Indonesia Digital Innovation Awards 2022", The Best Annual Report for Public Company Platinum Category (Economic Review), The Best GRC for Corporate Governance & Compliance 2022 for the Energy Services Category which won four diamonds (GRC & Performance Excellence Award 2022).
According to Jayanty, these appreciations and awards are proof of Elnusa's competence and qualified capability in providing total solutions to the energy services business. She also hopes that Elnusa's best services, which have received appreciation, can play an important role in taking steps with all stakeholders in Indonesia to increase oil and gas production and maintain national energy security.
