April 16, 2024 - Several vehicles experienced breakdowns on the toll road heading towards Jakarta during the Eid al-Fitr 1445 H return flow due to fuel shortage. Pertamina noted that around 187 vehicles ran out of fuel during the return flow until Monday, April 15, 2024.
"In collaboration with relevant authorities, Pertamina's motorist team quickly dispatched fuel to the locations of the stalled vehicles," said Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso.
Pertamina's motorist team is always on standby 24 hours a day during the Eid al-Fitr task force's active period until April 21, ensuring that incidents such as vehicles running out of fuel can be promptly addressed.
"We urge the public to refuel their vehicles before embarking on return journeys. Pertamina’s petrol stations are also available at almost all rest areas, so they can stop by to refuel," Fadjar added.
Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) can be accessed by contacting Pertamina's call center at 135. The public can reach out if they encounter any issues related to fuel and LPG.
