Fulfilling Eid al-Fitr Needs, Pertamina Adds 14.4 Million 3 Kg LPG Cylinders Until D+3

Malang, April 14, 2024 - During Ramadan until D+3 of Eid al-Fitr 2024, Pertamina, through its subsidiary, Pertamina Patra Niaga, has increased the supply of 3 Kg LPG cylinders by 14.4 million cylinders or equivalent to 43 thousand Metric Tons (MT) across all regions in Indonesia.

Mars Ega Legowo Putra, Regional Marketing Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, said the additional supply of 3 kg LPG is aimed at fulfilling the increased demand during the Eid al-Fitr 2024 period.

"The stock at official 3kg LPG Agents and Depots is sufficient. Therefore, we encourage the public to buy 3 kg LPG at official depots to obtain prices compliant with the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the Regional Government. If the public buys 3 kg LPG from retailers, it will be more expensive," Mars Ega said during a stock check at depots in Malang, East Jawa, today.

Separately, Irto Ginting, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, added that the 3 kg LPG stock is sufficient for more than 15 days. The stock reliability from LPG Filling Stations to Agents and Depots is a way to anticipate the surge in demand for 3 kg LPG until the Eid holiday period ends.

Understanding the holiday conditions, Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared 5,027 standby agents and depots that will remain operational during the holiday to serve the public.

"We continue to monitor the addition of 3 Kg LPG allocations to areas that need it, and our field teams continue to conduct periodic checks at our standby agents and depots," Irto said.
