Jakarta, April 19, 2023 - Pertamina has held its 16th free homecoming program after being absent during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, 3,000 homecomers participated in the program, including informal worker communities such as caretakers, scavengers, cleaning workers, and street vendors.
In line with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, this year's homecoming program carries the theme "Homecoming Awaited, Homecoming in the Heart, Together with State-Owned Enterprises 2023," in which 82 state-owned companies are involved with transportation modes ranging from buses, trains, ships, and planes.
This year, Pertamina deployed 64 buses with a total of 3,000 homecomers. The 17 routes served include Tasikmalaya, Garut, Cirebon, Yogyakarta, Pemalang, Cilacap, Purworejo, Kebumen, Tegal, Purwokerto, Semarang, Surakarta, Banyuwangi, Ngawi, Madiun, Malang, and Surabaya.
The release of participants in the Homecoming Awaits, Homecoming in the Heart Together with State-Owned Enterprises, Pertamina 2023 was carried out by the Director of Logistics and Infrastructure of PT Pertamina (Persero) Erry Widiastono, at Gelora Bung Karno West Plaza, Jakarta, on Wednesday (19/4/2023).
On this occasion, Erry revealed that this year's homecoming coverage was set through land routes, with bus departure points from Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta to 17 points, calculated as majority destinations for homecomers. Thus, this program can be optimally utilized by the public.
In addition, Erry also stated that this free homecoming program is Pertamina's support for the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises program to express the company's concern and gratitude by sharing happiness and blessings with homecomers so that they can reunite with their loved ones.
"This program is one form of gratitude for Pertamina because it can continue to be present in providing energy for the people of Indonesia and an expression of thanks to the community who have faithfully used Pertamina's products," he added.
Various facilities and activities are provided for homecomers, such as children's activities, free massages, free haircuts, and photo boxes, which are deliberately prepared to support comfort and support the needs of homecomers while waiting for the departure procession. Through the Pertamina Group collaboration, homecomers also obtain various benefits, including homecoming insurance protection during the journey from Tugu Insurance, merchandise for homecomers, and e-vouchers worth IDR 25,000 for homecomers who have the Mypertamina application.
The facilities and benefits that homecomers receive are a form of energy support and appreciation from Pertamina for homecomers through this program. It is also felt by one of the homecomers who attended the departure event.

To support the comfort of travelers during the journey, Pertamina has also ensured the safety, health, and security travelers by providing adequate equipment and transportation modes that have been recorded and passed inspections with roadworthy status. In addition, each bus also has a coordinator responsible for monitoring the safety and needs of travelers during the journey.
