Jakarta, February 9, 2023 - Having succeeded in owning the world's largest environmentally friendly gas tanker, Pertamina Gas Amaryllis, PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) once again adds assets for business expansion in the international market, as well as developing future businesses.
PIS adds small LPG types named Gas Antasena and PIS Prolific to its vessel assets. Each has a capacity of 3,500 cubic meters. These two ships can transport LPG, chemical cargo, and ammonia.
As it is known, PIS is not only aggressively expanding to add international shipping routes, but also diversifying its business portfolio, including petrochemical cargo transportation for future business development.
The PIS Prolific ship is planned to be optimized to serve overseas trading routes with the main focus on the West of Suez and North West Europe areas. Following PIS' vision and mission to expand its business to European, American, and Middle Eastern markets.
The Delivery and Acceptance protocol document signing took place on January 4, 2023, by the Director of Operations of PIS, as well as Managing Director of PIS Singapore Brilian Perdana with Head of Business Intelligence BW Epic Kosan, Menezes Waye Diogo.

Meanwhile, the Antasena Gas ship ownership signing took place on January 25, 2023, in Singapore. The Delivery and Acceptance protocol signing was carried out by the Director of Fleet, Muhammad Irfan Zainul Fikri, and Head of Sale and Purchase Commercial Department BW Epic Kosan, Jack Davis.
"This ship will later serve overseas trading routes and domestic routes. With the current ship size, Gas Antasena can deliver energy to the ends of Indonesia. Moreover, this ship is also capable of transporting chemical cargo," said Irfan.**
