Jakarta, September 11, 2024 – PT PGN Tbk (PGN), as Pertamina’s Gas Sub-holding, strengthens its synergy with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN), the Commercial & Trading Subholding, through a collaboration that enables gas bill payments via the MyPertamina app. PGN and PPN aim to fulfill customer expectations by expanding gas bill payment channels while supporting Pertamina’s goal to enhance synergy and collaboration between its Sub-holdings.
The collaboration was formalized through a Cooperation Agreement signed by the President Director of PGN, Arief Setiawan Handoko, and the President Director of PPN, Riva Siahaan. The signing was witnessed by the Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of Pertamina, Alfian Nasution, and the Chief Commissioner of PGN, Amien Sunaryadi, during PGN’s 59th-anniversary celebration.
“PGN continues to strengthen its digitalization efforts in product and service development. Previously, we integrated call center services into the Pertamina Call Center 135, managed by PPN. Therefore, all Pertamina Group customers receive uniform call center services. This collaboration involves two entities, PGN and PPN, utilizing the MyPertamina app for PGN customer services,” said the President Director of PGN, Arief Setiawan Handoko.
Beyond the gas bill payment feature, the MyPertamina app is expected to serve as an effective sales and marketing platform while enabling digital value transactions. The app provides historical gas bill information for PGN customers.
“PGN also aims to show appreciation to its customers by offering loyalty programs within the MyPertamina app, such as point rewards. This program is designed to positively impact customer loyalty in using PGN gas while encouraging continued MyPertamina app utilization,” Arief added.
Gas bill payments through the MyPertamina app will simplify the process for over 556,320 households and 2,017 small customers, helping them fulfill their payment obligations. Monthly gas usage bills are typically sent via email or can be viewed through the PGN Mobile and MyPertamina apps, or by contacting the Pertamina Call Center at 135 starting on the 6th of each month.
The billing period for PGN’s gas utilization is from the 6th to the 20th of each month. Customers can now pay their gas bills through the MyPertamina app, bank ATMs (Mandiri, BNI, BRI, BCA, BTN, BSI, CIMB, Bank Lampung), Payment Agents (PPOB), Post Offices, Pegadaian, Indomaret, Alfamart, Alfamidi, DanDan, e-commerce platforms (Tokopedia, Mitra Tokopedia, Blibli, and Shopee), and e-Wallets (Gopay, DANA, and LinkAja).
Throughout 2023, PGN's Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) was rated excellent. Collaboration with the Commercial & Trading Subholding is a joint effort to maintain and improve top-tier services and create an outstanding customer experience.
