Musicians, Local Brands, and Nearly 20,000 Participants Ready to Enliven Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023

Jakarta, November 8, 2023 - The Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023, hold on November 26 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, will be enlivened by musicians across generations, eco-market activities featuring local brands, and educational workshops catering to various age groups. The Eco Run tickets have sold out with 10,000 runners, as well as the Ecofest tickets with 8,500 tickets.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, mentioned that the Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 is the largest annual event organized as part of Pertamina's 66th anniversary in 2023. This event showcases Pertamina's commitment to the environment and public health. He noted that the event has gained significant public interest, proven by the increasing number of participants each year.

“Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 is an eco-friendly festival that encourages Indonesians to maintain their health while nurturing the environment,” stated Fadjar.

Under the tagline 'Energizing Your Move', Pertamina presents the Eco Fest, consisting of the Energizing Music Festival and the Eco Market.

According to Fadjar, the Energizing Music Festival will feature musicians across generations on three stages spread across the entire Istora Senayan area. Visitors can enjoy performances by Tulus, Raisa, Afgan, Yura Yunita, D’Masiv, Andien, Lyodra, Kunto Aji, and Ziva Magnolia. They will also sing along with Project Pop, Armada, Juicy Luicy, Efek Rumah Kaca, Fourtwnty, Idgitaf, and Wika Salim.

Visitors will also enjoy a delightful experience at the Eco Market, curated in collaboration with Folkaland. Pertamina has collaborated with local creative and sustainable communities such as Ibukardus, Setali, and Benih Bunbun to conduct various educational workshops utilizing recycled materials. Pertamina also provides water refill stations to reduce single-use plastic water bottle waste, invites visitors to bring their bottles, charging stations, and various installations that please the eye. This initiative serves as an educational platform introducing an environmentally friendly lifestyle to the public.

"At the Eco Market, visitors will be presented with local brand vendors and Pertamina-fostered partners, offering a variety of organic and eco-friendly products. Therefore, we encourage all attendees to bring their drinking bottles or tumblers," added Fadjar.

The presale tickets for the Eco Fest were sold out within less than a week of their availability. Following this enthusiastic response, the regular Eco Fest tickets have also sold out, totaling 8,500 tickets. Up to this point, nearly 20,000 participants have registered in the Pertamina Eco Run and Eco Fest.
