Jakarta, July 24, 2024 - In celebration of National Children's Day 2024, Pertagas organized a social and educational program titled "Sharing Joy and Stories" at Kampung Buku Cibubur. The event, held on Tuesday (23/07) at Abdul Rahman Street, Gang Rukun No. 56, Cibubur, East Jakarta, was a special moment for 70 children living near Pertagas' operational area.
Twelve Pertagas employees, part of the Employee Volunteering Program, collaborated with Kampung Buku volunteers to provide an enjoyable and educational experience for the children at Kampung Buku. This event aimed to commemorate National Children's Day positively and cheerfully.
The "Sharing Joy and Stories at Kampung Buku" event began with an introduction to the AKHLAK culture for the Kampung Buku children. The volunteers then engaged the children in various educational and interactive games to stimulate creativity and teamwork. Additionally, the event was enlivened with group singing and storytelling by Pertagas and Kampung Buku volunteers to foster a love for reading and create a joyful atmosphere for the children.
Moreover, Pertagas donated reading books and children's toys from its employees to the children, along with educational development funds for Kampung Buku. Gift packages containing stationery and coloring supplies were also distributed to support the children's education and creativity.
