Jakarta, August 12, 2022 – One of Pertamina's Sub Holding Gas subsidiaries, PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), won 4 awards at the Environmental Social Responsibility and Corporate Social Responsibility (TJSL & CSR) Award 2022 held by BUMN TRACK at Hotel JW Marriot Jakarta, (11/8).
With SOE acceleration to encourage economic recovery through TJSL & CSR theme, this appreciates SOEs and their subsidiaries that run the best TJSL and CSR programs based on ISO 26000, following the four pillars of SDGs, namely Social, Economic, Environmental, Legal, and Governance.
From the judging results, Pertagas won four awards with a four-star predicate, namely the social pillar category won by the KAWAT CINTA program from Operation West Java Area (OWJA) and the Waste Cooking Oil Program from Operation East Java Area (OEJA). TAMAN Sidrap from Operation Kalimantan Area (OKA) for the economic pillar category, and the Sidomulyo Tourism Village program from Operation South Sumatra Area (OSSA) for the best environment pillar category.
Elok Riani Ariza, Communication, Relations & CSR Manager of Pertagas, expressed her gratitude for the award received by Pertagas. This BUMN Track award is the CSR program success indicator implemented by Pertagas and its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) fulfillment.

At this TJSL & CSR Award, Pertagas presented four superior programs from various Pertagas operational areas. The Kawat Cinta Program in Tanjung Village, Karawang, West Java Pertagas OWJA empowers vulnerable groups, namely women and the elderly, to turn food insecure villages into productive independent villages.
Meanwhile, Pertagas OKA, through the TAMAN Sidrap program, empowers farmers and women farmer groups (KWT) in the Sidrap pipeline, Martadina Village, East Kutai by implementing integrated semi-organic farming. It helps farmers save operating costs up to 83% and speed up horticultural harvests up to 25 days, which increases farmers' income.
In Kalitengah, Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo, East Java, Pertagas OEJA with its Taman Olah Jelantah program empowers women and the elderly to utilize used cooking oil waste into useful products for fostered partners that can reduce environmental pollution.
Pertagas OSSA, through the Sidomulyo Tourism Village program in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatera, can answer environmental problems by utilizing 2 hectares of unused land for productive land. Converting unused land into educational tourism sites for the community also offers various entertainment facilities such as swimming pools, traditional game areas, fishing areas, archery areas, as well as souvenir centers that drive the village economy's wheels.
In the future, Pertagas will continuously develop various CSR programs that can optimize the community's potential in the company's operational area. It is done to build close relationships with the community and support the economy and regional potential improvement.**
