Pertamina Appreciates the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN for National Strategic Projects and Assets Certification

Jakarta, February 14, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) appreciates the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) for the National Strategic Projects and Pertamina Assets Land Certificates submission, which was handed over directly by the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, TNI Marshal (Purn), Hadi Tjahjanto, S.I.P. to the President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati today (14/2) at the Grha Pertamina Ballroom, Jakarta.

The Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Raja Juli Antoni, Middle High Leadership officials, Primary high leadership officials, Experts, and some ATR/BPN Ministries, as well as Commissioner of Pertamina, Iggi H. Achsien, Director of Business Support of Pertamina, Dedi Sunardi and related Pertamina management were also present at this activity.

With support from the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Pertamina has succeeded in increasing the land ownership status of PT Pertamina (Persero) in 2022 to reach 804.5 Ha, most of which are assets in the North Sumatera region and land for the National Strategic Project development in Indramayu, West Java, Cilacap, Central Java, and Tuban, East Java. The total cumulative asset status of Free & Clear reached 10,686.8 Ha in 2022.

On this occasion, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, TNI Marshal (Purn) Hadi Tjahjanto, S.I.P said that the synergy and collaboration between Pertamina and the Ministry of ATR/BPN were very important for solving asset problems and accelerating Pertamina's asset certification.

"We continue to be committed to help solving Pertamina's land problems, and we already have a special service unit in the area that will speed up the land certification process belonging to Pertamina," he said.

Furthermore, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN appealed to Pertamina to submit an assets list that must be certified immediately, "The West Java, Central Java, and East Java Regional Offices will immediately coordinate proactively for any location that must be followed up," said Hadi.

President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, expressed her highest gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN and his staff who have provided support to save SOE assets, in this case, Pertamina. Digitalization and various breakthroughs made by the Ministry of ATR/BPN have provided convenience for Pertamina.

"With several breakthroughs that have been submitted, various asset certificates can be implemented this year so that the problems with assets and the people living in the area can find the best solution without any friction with the community," said Nicke.

Nicke further hopes that cooperation with the Ministry of ATR/BPN can continue to be strengthened to complete all Pertamina land registrations by 2025, as well as support for National Strategic Projects, namely the Petrochemical Complex Balongan, RDMP Cilacap, and NGRR Tuban.

Pertamina, an SOE with an integrated business from upstream to downstream in the energy sector, has a large business scope and asset management. Good asset management will have a positive impact on the smooth operation of the company.

Support from various stakeholders will boost Pertamina's performance in maintaining the country's energy security and actively contribute to the 2060 Net Zero Emissions program.**
