Jakarta, June 26, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) and its Subholding Companies and Subsidiaries won 40 awards at the Indonesia Social Responsibility Award (ISRA) 2023 in Solo last week. These awards are an appreciation for Pertamina Group's commitment and consistency in empowering and improving the local community's economy through Community Involvement and Development (CID) programs based on the Creating Shared Value (CSV) principle.
Pertamina Group received awards in six categories, including Economic Empowerment, Cultural Preservation, Education, Gender Equality & Social Inclusion, Health Quality Improvement, Climate Change Mitigation, CSR Video Documentation, Biodiversity Conservation, and a special award, ISRA 2023: People of The Year.
In the Economic Empowerment category, Pertamina, through the Small Medium Enterprise Partnership Program (SMEPP) team, secured the Gold rank for the UMK Go Global program and the Silver rank for the Pinky Movement program. Both of these programs are flagship initiatives that have been implemented and continuously developed over the past several years.

Ravik Karsidi, Special Staff to the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, stated in his presentation that business relationships and social responsibility are closely intertwined. In conducting business, it is important not only to focus on economic aspects but also to create corporate awareness of the surrounding environment. This can be achieved through various activities aimed at benefiting the community, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs aligned with government initiatives.
The Indonesia Social Responsibility Award (ISRA) is a platform for knowledge dissemination and business recognition from various industries for their commitment, dedication, and innovation in fulfilling social and environmental responsibilities. In 2023, ISRA carried the "Empowering Sustainable Innovation" theme, which signifies empowerment through the sustainable social innovation lens. ISRA is also expected to create opportunities for collaboration, networking, and provide practical skills and tools for implementing innovation.
Achieving these awards is in line with the four Pillars of the Company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL), namely Pertamina Cerdas for education, Pertamina Sehat for healthcare, Pertamina Hijau for environmental conservation, and Pertamina Berdikari for empowerment and economic development. These TJSL programs support economic growth creation and opportunities for communities to improve their life quality.
