Pertamina Digital Expo Ready to Be Held to Master Digital Company Technology

Jakarta, October 28, 2023 - Pertamina Digital Community (MITA) will hold the "Pertamina Digital Expo" in Jakarta on November 1-2, 2023. Apart from being a gathering and networking platform for digital partners and practitioners, this expo is also a cutting-edge technology exhibition that can be utilized by state-owned enterprises, government agencies, educational institutions, and the general public to observe the digital transformation progress. 

The event, titled "Beyond Limit, Digitally Energizing," will take place at Kasablanka Hall, Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that the Pertamina Digital Expo is a part of Pertamina's response to the current energy industry state characterized by high volatility and vulnerability. This response is related to Pertamina's vision of becoming a world-class national energy company based on digitalization.

"Digitalization is a key driver for national energy resilience, including the sub-holdings formation and a reliable and digitally integrated service portfolio of subsidiary companies," Fadjar said.

Fadjar added that this expo is part of the Digital Transformation Initiative launched in 2018, which resulted in value creation of more than 420 million USD in 2022.

Pertamina Digital Expo aims to attract 1,000 visitors daily from government agencies, state-owned enterprise employees, Pertamina personnel, students, the private sector, partners, and the media.

The expo's program includes digital experiences, gallery walks, conferences, panel discussions (MITA Talk), e-sport fun matches, exhibitions, and performances by well-known artists.

"For the exhibition, Holding and Subholding Pertamina, as well as subsidiary companies and Fordigi (Digital Forum), several SOEs, national and international private companies, will participate," Fadjar added.

Fadjar hopes that the Pertamina Digital Expo can serve as a platform and opportunity for all parties, especially Pertamina personnel, to enhance their digital technology ability within the company.

"We expect the Pertamina Digital Expo to become a space for supporting human resource competency in optimizing digital technology within the company in pursuit of the shareholders' aspiration to become a globally competitive company," Fadjar emphasized.
