Jakarta, March 4, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero)'s quick response in the Jakarta Plumpang Integrated Terminal incident handling was not only for extinguishing but also focused on providing aid to affected Plumpang residents.
Since Friday night (3/3), Pertamina has distributed aid at 4 points, namely the Koramil Post, the Tugu Selatan Lurah Office Post, the Rasela Rawabadak RPTRA Post, the Community Health Center, and the Rawa Badak Selatan Village Office.
VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, conveyed that the aid provided included 60 boxes of drinking water, 200 packages of ready-to-eat food, 1000 snacks, hundreds of mattresses, blankets, and masks. "We are moving quickly to aid residents evacuating from their homes," said Fadjar.
Pertamina will continue to assist according to the needs of residents. Working closely with the relevant parties, Pertamina will monitor the location to record the residents' needs. "After that, we will distribute aid again according to the needs of the residents," explained Fadjar.
Apart from assisting residents, Pertamina will also fully bear all the treatment of victims, both for those in referral hospitals and those treated at Pertamina-affiliated hospitals.
Assistance will also be given to the deceased and their families with funeral arrangements and compassion.
