Jakarta, April 20, 2023 - The increase of vehicles during the homecoming trip on toll and non-toll roads has has resulted in an upsurge of vehicles refueling at petrol stations.
To shorten the queues at petrol stations passed by travelers, Pertamina encourages customers to use non-cash or cashless payment methods when purchasing fuel. Thus, services can be faster and more efficient.
"We urge travelers to use non-cash or cashless payment methods when buying fuel. This can ease the petrol station operators' job so they do not need to prepare change, resulting in faster service," said Fadjar Djoko Santoso, VP of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), in Jakarta on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
This non-cash payment can also be made through the Mypertamina application, which provides various attractive promotions for customers.
Moreover, Pertamina is committed to serving travelers’ needs. Customers who run out of fuel during traffic jams can use Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) by calling Pertamina's call center at 135. The motorcyclist will head to the location with the fuel within 10-15 minutes, accompanied by security personnel. This service has been authorized to do so on toll roads as well. This service has been provided for several years, and this year there are 402 motorcyclists available, nearly twice as many as last year," said Fadjar.
Pertamina is committed to providing the best service for the community, especially during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods in 2023. The community is encouraged not to worry about fuel supplies as Pertamina ensures their safety. Pertamina also encourages customers who experience difficulties regarding fuel and LPG to contact the 135 call center for further information.**
