Semarang, August 24, 2022 - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java Region confirms the sufficiency stock for both subsidized and non-subsidized fuel products in Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY). As stated by the Area Manager of Communication, Relations & Corporate Social Responsibility for the Central Java Region of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Brasto Galih Nugroho on Tuesday (23/8) in Semarang.
"Generally, the fuel stock in the Central Java and Yogyakarta Fuel Terminals reaches 12 days and this figure does not include the stock at refineries and ships. People don't need to worry because the stock is sufficient enough," he said.
In addition to sufficient stock, Brasto added that Pertamina has been equipped with a PICC (Pertamina Integrated Command Center) which can monitor the distribution process in real-time such as monitoring sales, stock availability at petrol stations, and fuel recipients during unloading from tanker truck (MT), and develop automatic scheduling in fuel delivery to petrol stations.
"We also have an RAE (regular, alternative, and emergency) distribution pattern to anticipate abnormal and emergency conditions to ensure that the fuel availability can still run under any conditions," Brasto explained.
Brasto also explained that the high-level economic activity, tourism activities, and several large events held in Central Java and Yogyakarta also had an impact on increasing fuel consumption in the region.
"Currently, the average daily consumption of gasoline (Pertalite and Pertamax Series) in Central Java is 11,283 kiloliters and the average daily gasoline consumption in the Yogyakarta region is 1,809 kiloliters," Brasto explained.
Compared to 2021, in 2022 there was an increase in BBM Penugasan (Pertalite) consumption in Central Java and Yogyakarta, around 28% from the previous 8,586 kiloliters per day to 11,025 kiloliters per day.
"However, the stock for Pertalite is sufficient. As of today (23/8), the stocks at Fuel Terminal Central Java and Yogyakarta are approaching nine days (not including stocks at refineries and ships). So people don't need to worry and we urge the public to buy fuel according to needs," he continued.
But of course, he appealed to capable consumers to buy non-subsidized fuel according to vehicle specifications.
"If you need information and want to submit complaints about products and services from Pertamina, contact Pertamina Call Center service at 135 or through the MyPertamina application," he concluded.**
