Pertamina Group Wins 3 Awards at detikcom Awards 2024

Jakarta, October 18, 2024 – Pertamina Group secured three awards at the detikcom Awards 2024. The awards included the Inspirational Female Figure in the Energy Sector (Nicke Widyawati), the Clean Energy Initiator Award (PT Pertamina Persero), and the Outstanding Company in Sustainable Maritime Infrastructure Development Award (PT Pertamina International Shipping).

During the award ceremony, held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Westin Hotel in Jakarta, the President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, expressed gratitude and appreciation to detikcom for the recognition. She stated that these awards reflect Pertamina's efforts to achieve national energy resilience and fulfill net-zero emission targets, as acknowledged by the media.

"Various efforts have been made, and one of the results is the B35 biodiesel program. Annually, this program has reduced CO2 emissions and saved foreign exchange by up to IDR 122 trillion. We will continue this effort up to B60 following the national energy plan," Nicke said.

Nicke further mentioned that Pertamina's achievements are made possible by the support of various stakeholders, ensuring that the company's sustainability programs run optimally.

"I would like to thank all levels of management and stakeholders who have provided their support. Thanks to the decarbonization programs carried out by Pertamina Group, Pertamina is now ranked first globally in ESG performance for the integrated oil and gas sector. We will continue to support the government's efforts toward net-zero emissions," Nicke explained.
