Denpasar, March 20, 2023 - Pertamina Group won 50 awards in various categories at the 8th PR Indonesia Awards (PRIA), Bali (17/3). PRIA is one of the largest Public Relations (PR) competitions in the country that is participated by 236 agencies.
Pertamina Group won awards from various categories. Namely, the PR Department Category, Annual Report Category, Owned Media Category, PR Program Category, Digital Channels Category, Most Popular Category in Print and Online Media, and the CSR Program Category. Pertamina also won the CSR Campaign of the Year.
Vice President for Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, said that the success achieved by Pertamina in the PRIA 2023 event is proof of how big the Public Relations' role is in encouraging company development, company policies, as well as increasing the company's brand image in the public eye.
"This year, Pertamina Group won 50 awards from various categories. It is one of the most prestigious public relations awards in Indonesia. Indeed, this is a matter of pride," he said.
As the winner of CSR Campaign of The Year, Fadjar said that Pertamina is considered successful in campaigning for the "New Pinky Movement", a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program with CSV (Creating Share Value) concept by strengthening the MSEs capacity in Pertamina's business processes.
The Pinky Movement is a program that is featured as a CSR Program in the Sustainability Business Sub Category. This program is a Micro Small Business Funding (PUMK) program that assists with loans to Bright Gas outlets as the official LPG NPSO distribution network and LPG PSO Bases interested in selling Bright Gas throughout Indonesia.
This award is an achievement for the pinky movement program in empowering the community and MSMEs to upgrade while educating on target subsidized LPG utilization.
"The appreciation we received is also a motivation for all Pertamina Group public relations people to continue to innovate in communicating the company's business to society. Hopefully, in the following year, our achievements at this event will increase, and we can get awards in other subcategories," stated Fadjar.**
