Pertamina Investor Management Receives Awards
Hong Kong, July 26, 2023 - At the 13th Asian Excellence Awards 2023, hosted by Corporate Governance Asia (Hong Kong), PT Pertamina (Persero) has been honored with six prestigious awards. Pertamina received The Best Investor Relations Company award, and its President Director, and Director of Finance were recognized as Asia's Best CEO (Investor Relations) and Asia's Best CFO (Investor Relations), respectively. Additionally, VP of Investor Relations of Pertamina received the Best Investor Relation Professional award. Apart from these accolades, Pertamina was also recognized for Asia's Best CSR and Best Environmental Responsibility.
Fadjar Djoko Santoso, VP of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, stated that these awards demonstrate the appreciation for Pertamina's investor management, which emphasizes proactive communication, transparency, and information accountability to maintain Pertamina's credibility and enhance investor trust in the company. "The awards prove that Pertamina's investor management aligns with the investors' and other financial stakeholders’ expectations," said Fadjar.
Other than Pertamina, several Asian energy and petrochemical companies such as PetroChina Company Ltd, GCL Technology Holdings Ltd, PTT Public Company Ltd, PTT Exploration & Production Public Company Ltd, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Ltd, B.Grimm Power Public Company Ltd, IRPC Public Company Ltd, Thai Oil Public Company Ltd, and Global Power Synergy Public Company Ltd were also honored at the Asian Excellence Awards 2023.
Fadjar added that Pertamina continues to strive for improved investor management and service to support the company's growth and unlock value. It includes proactive communication and providing information about the company's performance and strategies, including Pertamina's ESG practices.
The Asian Excellence Awards is an annual event focused on Good Corporate Governance, organized by Corporate Governance Asia, a leading magazine covering Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance, Investor Relations, and Sustainability, published every three months. The magazine, established in 2002 and published by New Initiative Media Ltd, has an estimated readership of 12,000 comprising executives from Asian companies, regulators, institutional investors, fund managers, accountants, academics, and more.
