Bali, July 4, 2024 – Pertamina, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE), and the SOE Public Relations Forum held a meeting for all public relations functions of SOEs, attended by around 200 participants at The Meru Sanur, Denpasar, Bali, from July 2-3, 2024.
The SOE Public Relations Forum continues to demonstrate strong solidarity and is committed to continuing the best programs established so far.
Arya Sinulingga, Special Staff III to the Minister of SOEs, stated that regular meetings of communication or public relations functions of SOEs are expected to bring progress. "Programs like this must be sustainable, as it has been proven that SOE public relations teams are very united. In terms of performance, there is also an increasing amount of news coverage related to SOEs, which is good," said Arya.
He also hopes the Public Relations Forum can strengthen its role domestically and internationally. "I hope the Public Relations Forum can start to become a member of regional public relations communities in Southeast Asia and even globally to build a strong global SOE public relations network," Arya added.
Also present in the meeting was Rachman Ferry Isfianto, Head of Public Relations and Strategic Support Facilitation Bureau. Ferry stated that SOE public relations are expected to be at the forefront in building the company's reputation and brand positioning.
Ferry also hopes that the SOE Public Relations Forum will not only be a place for exchanging ideas but also an inspiring and proactive forum for formulating solutions for every communication challenge. "So that all parties can ensure that every step taken will contribute positively, especially in maintaining the positive image of the Ministry of SOEs and the SOE Group," said Ferry.
Meanwhile, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, VP of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, added that Pertamina plays an active role and supports the Ministry of SOEs' programs related to public relations, including involvement in the SOE Public Relations Forum.
"The public relations role in SOEs is important because they are the frontline in public communication for each SOE. With meetings like this, SOE public relations can exchange ideas to develop better communication strategies," said Fadjar.
