August 30, 2024 – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga guarantees that Pertalite distribution will continue under the government's assignment. There is no plan to halt the distribution of Pertalite on September 1, 2024.
"The public need not fall for hoaxes. We will continue to distribute Pertalite according to the quota set by the government," explained the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Heppy Wulansari.
Pertamina Patra Niaga fully supports the government's efforts to ensure that subsidies are accurately targeted by registering subsidized fuel users through QR Code registration at www.subsiditepat.mypertamina.id.
"The QR Code registration for Pertalite is being implemented in stages and is currently only for four-wheeled vehicles. At the moment, registration is focused on the Java, Madura, Bali (JAMALI) region and certain non-JAMALI regions, including Kepri, NTT, Maluku, North Maluku, Gorontalo, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, Aceh, Bangka Belitung, Bengkulu, and Timika Regency. We hope the first stage will reach 100% by the end of September 2024. The second stage is planned to start as early as October-November 2024," said Heppy.
Currently, 3.9 million registrants have been verified and received their QR Codes. The required documents for registration include a photo of the ID card, a selfie, a photo of the vehicle registration certificate (STNK) (front and back), a full photo of the vehicle, a photo of the front of the vehicle showing the license plate, and a photo of the KIR certificate for vehicles using KIR. Ensure all documents are clear, readable, and sent in photo format (jpg). Additionally, ensure that the uploaded photos are high-resolution to facilitate the verification process.
"We urge Pertalite users who have not yet registered to do so immediately, ensuring they have access to targeted fuel subsidies," Heppy advised.
