December 24, 2022 - The natural beauty of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) provinces made it the main tourist destination at the end of the year. Thus, PT Pertamina, through Subholding Commercial & Trading, Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus region, has started preparations to ensure supplies of fuel, LPG, and Avtur.
Similar other regions, Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared a Task Force that will serve from December 15, 2022, to January 8, 2023.
Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, Deny Djukardi, said his party predicts an increase in Gasoline fuel consumption by 1% and a decrease in Gasoil by 3% in NTT during the Christmas and 2023 New Year.
For gasoline-type fuel, Pertamina is preparing an additional supply of 1,062 KL or an increase of 1% from the average daily consumption of 1041 KL.
As for gasoil, it is estimated that consumption will decrease by 3% or around 501 KL from the average daily consumption of 516 KL.
Deny said for NTB, Pertamina Patra Niaga added 3% of Gasoline fuel stocks, but for Gasoil, there was a 1% decrease during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
In detail, gasoline is predicted to have an additional 3% of the average consumption or 1402 KL. Meanwhile, for gasoil, it is predicted to decrease by 1% from the average consumption or by 504 KL.
To ensure the the public and tourists needs during Nataru, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to monitor stocks at depots and at 215 petrol stations in the Nusa Tenggara.
Deny said that his party guaranteed that the supply and distribution of fuel and LPG during the Christmas and New Year celebrations in the Nusa Tenggara region would run smoothly. "Pertamina also ensures that fuel and LPG stocks in the Jatimbalinus area are sufficient and all infrastructure has been alerted. It includes 19 BBM Terminals, 8 LPG Terminals, more than 1,386 petrol stations, 160 SPBEs (PSO & NPSO), 1,030 LPG Agents (PSO & NPSO), and 13 DPPUs by building up stock in each Channeling Agency and ensuring the service is in prime condition," said Deny.
Overall, the projected stock in Jatimbalinus is estimated to increase Gasoline fuel consumption by 3% by 18,279 KL from the average daily consumption of 17,780 KL and decrease in Gasoil by 1% by 8,567 KL from the average daily consumption of 8,650 KL. As for LPG, it is estimated that there will be an increase in consumption of 2.5% or 4,648 MT from the average daily consumption of 4,536 MT.
Avtur sales at 13 airports in the Jatimbalinus during the Nataru 2022 Task Force period are also predicted to experience an increase of around 10.1% from average sales of 2,200 KL per day or a 152% increase from the Nataru 2021 Task Force.
In order to ensure optimal service to the public, Pertamina operates the Integrated Enterprise Data & Center Command Center (IEDCC). The CCTV at gas stations has been connected to the Command Center so that critical stocks and queue conditions at gas stations can be monitored and can be an overview of the condition of the Jatimbalinus area.**
