Palembang, May 11, 2023 - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel remains committed to actively promoting economic growth, and one of its tangible contributions to the Government is through the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB).
"In 2022, for the South Sumatera province, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel has contributed PBBKB of IDR 1.4 trillion to the Provincial Government," explained Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan, Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR for Sumbagsel.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has fulfilled its obligation to pay the PBBKB for the period of January to December 2022. PBBKB is one of the significant revenue sources for local governments to carry out regional development.
According to Nikho, to increase the local revenue from PBBKB, which comes from fuel providers, Pertamina strives to ensure that non-subsidized fuel sales continue to rise in the increasingly competitive business environment.
"Pertamina is highly committed and compliant with government regulations, especially in taxation matters," he added.
Nikho also expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Sumbagsel region people who chose to use high-quality and environmentally friendly fuel from Pertamina. He hopes that the public's interest in using high-quality fuel (Pertamax Series and Dex Series) will continue to grow, as it directly impacts the tax contributions that can be utilized for the provincial region's development.
"Thank you to the people who consistently choose high-quality fuel. The increased use of high-quality fuel significantly affects the Regional Revenue through PBBKB, thus fostering continuous development in the area," concluded Nikho.
