Medan, February 9, 2024 - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga North Sumatra Region (Sumbagut) ensures fuel, LPG, and avtur stocks’ readiness in North Sumatra (Sumut) during the holidays and vacations of Isra Miraj, Chinese New Year, and the 2024 election. It was revealed by the Area Manager Comm, Rel & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagut Region, Susanto August Satria, on Thursday (8/2).
"Pertamina Patra Niaga guarantees fuel, LPG, and avtur stocks are sufficient during the holidays and vacations of Isra Miraj, Chinese New Year, and the 2024 election," said Satria.
He explained that the stocks of Biosolar and Pertalite in North Sumatra are ensured to be safe. As of today, there are 40,214 Kilo Liters (KL) of Biosolar stock and 18,533 KL of Pertalite. Meanwhile, the stock of LPG is 5,099 Metric Tons (MT) and is adequate. "This stock does not include stock that will be distributed from refineries and ongoing stock from tankers," he explained.
In addition, Satria said that Pertamina Patra Niaga has formed an Election Task Force from February 5 to 18, 2024, tasked with ensuring the smooth energy distribution in North Sumatra and supporting a safe and peaceful election.
"Unlike previous years, this year we have an Election Task Force to enhance vigilance in the fuel and LPG distribution during the long holidays and this election," he said.
He stated that they ensure that Fuel Terminals, Integrated Terminal, LPG Depots, and Aircraft Refueling Depots (DPPU) operate normally and optimally to anticipate the increase in energy consumption in society.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagut Region has also coordinated with the Regional Police and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) to ensure security at all of Pertamina's operational facilities, which are National Vital Objects.
