Batam, January 20, 2023 - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga North Sumatera Region (Sumbagut), with the Provincial Government represented by the Financial Management Agency and the Regional Revenue Agency, which are in the North Sumatera operational area, namely North Sumatera Province, Aceh Province, West Sumatera Province, Riau Province, and Riau Archipelago Province, held Coordination of Collection of Deposits and Reconciliation of PBBKB Regional Tax (Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax) in Batam (18/1).
Acting Area Manager Finance for Pertamina Patra Niaga North Sumatera Region, Adrian Bonarul Parlindungan, revealed that for two days, Pertamina Patra Niaga North Sumatera Region had carried out coordination activities for collecting deposits and PBBKB reconciliation for five provinces in the operating area of Pertamina Patra Niaga North Sumatera Region.
"We express our gratitude to all parties. We have completed the PBBKB reconciliation activities between the Pertamina North Sumatera Region and the Regional Revenue Agency (Bappenda) in our five operational provinces. "Throughout 2022, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has carried out its obligation to pay PBBKB for January to December 2022. PBBKB is one of the revenues that has a very significant impact on regional governments in carrying out their regional development," explained Adrian.
This reconciliation activity was carried out to increase transparency and accountability in the PBBKB management between Pertamina Patra Niaga and Bappenda. During 2022, Pertamina Patra Niaga deposited PBBKB to Bappenda in five provinces, amounting to IDR 3,511,481,034,600, or an increase of 15 percent from the PBBKB deposited in 2021.
Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional for North Sumatera, Freddy Anwar, in his speech, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the people throughout the North Sumatera region for choosing to use quality and environmentally friendly fuel oil from Pertamina. One of the biggest products contributing to the PBBKB realization is Pertamax. He hopes that public interest in using quality fuel (Pertamax Series and Dex Series) will increase because it will directly impact on tax payments that can be used for development in the province.
