Jakarta, August 13, 2022 - Pertamina won two awards in the Best SME Development Program category and the Human Capital Enabler category in the 2022 Marketeers SME Enablers Award event.
This award is given to companies that actively empower Micro and Small Enterprises (SMEs) to be independent and penetrate the global market.
The award was given by the CEO of Marketeers, Iwan Setiawan to the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & SMEPP of Pertamina Persero, Fajriyah Usman at FX Sudirman, Jakarta, Friday, August 12, 2022.
CEO of Marketeers, Iwan Setiawan, said the award night was the SME gathering's culmination as part of the National MSME Day commemoration which is celebrated every August 12.
“We want to appreciate companies that actively empower SMEs in all their activities. Congratulations to the winners. Hopefully, we can continue consistently develop SMEs in the future,” he said.
Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & SMEPP of Pertamina Persero, Fajriyah Usman, expressed her gratitude because Pertamina managed to bring two awards at once. It is Pertamina's commitment manifestation to helping develop the fostered SMEs.
"Alhamdulillah, Pertamina's commitment to supporting Indonesia and the world's sustainable development goals continues to get recognition from stakeholders," said Fajriyah.
Fajriyah added that Pertamina would continue to support and fight for sustainable development goals following the company's ESG framework.
"Alhamdulillah, it is proven that all of Pertamina's programs, especially for SMEs empowerment, can continue to encourage the achievement and contribute to SDGs and ESG achievement in Indonesia and globally," added Fajriyah.
Fajriyah continued that Pertamina will proceed to be consistent in helping SMEs be more independent. Therefore, they can improve the national economy.
"Hopefully, Pertamina can continue to encourage MSEs to become more independent and go global. Pertamina hopes to continue improving the economy's living standard, and as a result, there will be a better national multiplier effect," she said.**
