Pertamina Retail Wins Honorary Awards at Nusantara CSR Award 2024
Jakarta, July 18, 2024 - As part of the Subholding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT Pertamina Retail remains committed to implementing ESG aspects and SDGs’ strategies in all its business activities. For its consistency, PT Pertamina Retail has been awarded three Platinum Elite SDGs awards and one Honorary Keris Trophy at the 2024 Nusantara CSR Awards.
The four awards were presented directly by La Tofi, Chairman of the La Tofi School of Social Responsibility, and received by the Acting President Director of PT Pertamina Retail, Mohammad Fitrawan Nur, at the Nusantara CSR Awards ceremony at the Kempinski Hotel on Wednesday (07/17).
The Nusantara CSR Awards is an award ceremony encouraging companies to commit and contribute to society and the environment, organized by the La Tofi School of Social Responsibility since 2015.
“Several companies that register their CSR programs each bring their own stories of change and having a tremendous impact. This is the basis for evaluation, demonstrating that CSR is essential for transforming Indonesia for the better,” explained La Tofi in his speech.
Acting President Director of PT Pertamina Retail, Mohammad Fitrawan Nur, stated that Pertamina Retail's success in winning the 2024 Nusantara CSR Awards showcases its capability not only as an energy provider partner but also in contributing to social and cultural development aspects of society.
“I am very proud and certainly appreciate all the hard work of the officers who have ensured the implementation of every CSR program. This award certainly serves as motivation and a benchmark for all of us to continue innovating in every company work program so that we can continue contributing to the progress of Indonesian society,” Fitrawan said.
The three CSR programs that won awards were: Quality Education for the Knowledge Hub SPBU COCO UNPAD Jatinangor program, Decent Work and Economic Growth for the Pertamina Sahabat Disabilitas Creative Hub SPBU COCO Lempuyangan program, and Responsible Consumption and Production for the Pertamax Greeneration Waste Management from an Early Age program.
Additionally, the Acting President Director of PT Pertamina Retail also had the opportunity to receive the Honorary Keris Trophy CSR Nusantara Awards 2024 as a Leader in Sustainable Business Transformation, presented by La Tofi to Fitrawan.
This award is the result of evaluations by the NUSANTARA ESG Forensic Board, which consists of experts in communication, sustainability, environment, and CSR practitioners in Indonesia. These evaluations prove that the benefits and impacts of PT Pertamina Retail's TJSL programs are on the right track for the welfare of society.
