November 28, 2022 - Not only assisting the land vehicles operations in the earthquake handling in Cianjur Regency, West Java, PT Pertamina also assisted in helicopter operation that belongs to the National Police to send logistics. Pertamina supplies Avtur fuel for three helicopters tasked to evacuate victims and distribute aid to the community.
The Avtur assistance delivery was carried out at the Halim Perdanakusuma DPPU, East Jakarta, Sunday (27/11/2022) and was received by the West Java Regional Police. The assistance provided was 2,800 liters (14 drums) of Avtur with a total value of IDR 60,108,720.
"For smooth evacuation and aid distribution to victims, we also help with Avtur fuel needs sent from DPPU Halim Perdanakusuma for three helicopters operational activities belonging to the West Java Regional Police," said Acting VP of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Heppy Wulansari, Monday (28/11/2022).
Previously, Pertamina also assisted the smooth land vehicles operation owned by the West Java Regional Police for disaster management in Cianjur. The assistance provided was 20 thousand liters of Dexlite and Pertamax fuel.
"Pertamina has also distributed 20 thousand liters of fuel for the operational vehicles of the West Java Regional Police to support the disaster management efforts carried out by the National Police in Cianjur," said Heppy.
Not only for the National Police, but Pertamina also distributes fuel for operational vehicles belonging to the TNI and all logistics cars for SOE Command Posts which distribute aid to 40 earthquake-affected villages in Cianjur Regency.
After the 5.6 magnitude earthquake that shook Cianjur on Monday (21/11), the total aid that Pertamina has distributed is IDR 1.6 billion. The aid distributed was fuel and LPG, health (medical team and medicines), daily equipment, as well as groceries, and ready-to-eat food.
Furthermore, Pertamina plans to distribute additional aid to the Cianjur earthquake victims. The Pertamina Cares Team will distribute aid of 250 kg of rice, 50 kg of sugar, 30 boxes of mineral water, 600 cup noodles, 100 liters of cooking oil, 50 boxes of powdered milk, 50 packs of canned biscuits, 100 packs of tea and coffee, 100 pieces of eucalyptus oil and telon oil, and 50 multivitamins.
Moreover, Pertamina also provided 100 pillows and bolsters, 300 blankets, 18 twin-floor mattresses, 300 men's and women's underwear, 50 prayer rugs, 50 sarongs, 50 mukenahs, and 50 raincoats.
