Jakarta, March 4, 2023 - PT Pertamina (Persero) Board of Directors visited the Plumpang Fuel Terminal incident, Jakarta victims treated at the Pertamina Pusat Hospital on Saturday (4/3). The visit was also attended by the Deputy Minister I of SOE, Pahala Nugraha Mansury.
President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, expressed her condolences for the incident at the Plumpang Fuel Terminal, "I represent the Directors and all Pertamina Officers convey a deep apology," she said.
Nicke hopes the victims and their families will be given strength and fortitude. She further said that compensation, medical expenses, and all costs incurred until the victim is cured are Pertamina's responsibility.
Director of RSPP, dr. Theryoto said that 26 victims are being treated at RSPP. The patient was classified as in a severe condition. Thus, they immediately received intensive care from the RSPP.
"RSPP, one of our superior services, is burn services. We are one of the best hospitals for treating burns in Indonesia," said dr. Theryoto.
After visiting the victims at the RSPP, Pertamina's board of directors headed to the Rasela RPTRA Evacuation Post in Rawa Badak, Koja, to see the condition of the 650 Plumpang residents who were still displaced at the post.
The Board of Directors interacted with the children with Pertamina Peduli Volunteers, providing trauma healing, as well as assisting residents in evacuation sites.
The Board of Directors also visited the public kitchen prepared by Pertamina at the evacuation post location. The kitchen produces food for babies and toddlers.
"Pertamina is preparing public kitchens for children's food. Because they are the most vulnerable in conditions like this," said Nicke.
Another assistance provided was logistical such as ready-to-eat food, mattresses, blankets, and medicines. Pertamina is continuously committed to assisting affected residents who are in evacuation.**
