Jakarta, March 2, 2023 - At the Inacraft event, Pertamina's Fostered Partners, with the business name Woodeco Indonesia, managed to record a product export transaction to Argentina of one container with 20 Feet of capacity worth more than IDR 150 Million. This number will increase as buyers continue ordering because of their interest in product quality.
The products exported are tableware, toiletries, and wooden tables made from furniture industry waste. This export was realized on the first day of Inacraft 2023 on Monday (1/3) at the Jakarta Convention Center. In the exhibition attended by more than 1,200 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Woodeco has received a Purchase Order (PO) and will soon send samples of its products.
"As Pertamina's Foster Partners, we appreciate the assistance in training, online business discussions, and exhibitions like today. Pertamina is extraordinary. The program could increase fostered SMEs sales, both in local and foreign markets," said Agung Setiawan, owner of Woodeco Indonesia.
Agung has joined Pertamina's fostered partners since 2020. The man from Bantul, Yogyakarta, is also one of the Pertapreneur Aggregator winners, an SME that can build a collaborations chain between other fostered partners and synergize in developing innovation, increasing EMR capacity and penetrating the global market.
With this initial transaction, Agung hopes that his export experience can encourage other Pertamina-assisted SMEs to progress and develop to support the increased exports of Indonesian products, especially in the United States and Latin America.
VP of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, revealed this is the second year after the pandemic Pertamina has participated in the Inacraft event. "This is a form of Pertamina's support to support the MSMEs' progress after the Covid-19 pandemic. Inacraft is expected to accelerate MSMEs' improvements in expanding markets at retail and export levels," Fadjar explained.
Fadjar hopes that events like this will continue to be held so Pertamina's fostered partners can further develop, their products will be acknowledged by the public, and their turnover will increase compared to the previous year.
This year, Pertamina has included 24 best-fostered MSME partners in the curation process to showcase their products at Inacraft 2023. In addition, six other fostered MSME partners took part in the exhibition independently. Superior products come from all over Indonesia, such as Palembang, Tasikmalaya, Depok, Garut, Kudus, Sleman, Semarang, Pekalongan, Surabaya, Denpasar, Ginyar, Lombok, Balikpapan, and Palangkaraya.
The products include songket fabrics from Azizah, Pekatan batik, Muria, Larissa, Joglo Ayu Tenan, and DnL Dewi Batik, Fashion products from Cap Bali, Namira Ecoprint, and Asia Garment Internasional, several craft products from Woodeco Art and Arara Art, Lyka, Arara Art, Klabat Craft Khula, Iwatik, Ida Utama, Indang Apang, Kemala Handmade, Atap Konjo, etc. as well as care products from Bali Ayu.
To encourage visitors' interest, Pertamina also held several activities and promos at the Inacraft Booth Hall A, JHCC. These include social media activities, BBK vouchers for purchasing MSME products worth at least IDR one million without multiples, as well as flash sales at the Inacraft closing on March 5, 2023.
