Jakarta, April 11, 2024 - Pertamina's fuel consumption reached its highest point on the eve of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H or Tuesday (9/4) compared to normal consumption, with gasoline at 46% and Avtur at 4.8%. Meanwhile, gasoil experienced a 37% decrease on that day. The highest increase in gasoline occurred with the Pertamax Turbo product, reaching 104%.
"Not only did fuel experience an increase during the 2024 RAFI task force, but 3 kg LPG also experienced an addition of 5.8% from normal demand," said the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan in a written statement, Thursday (11/4/2024).
Furthermore, Riva explained that on the eve of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H, fuel consumption, such as Pertalite increased by 37% and Pertamax also increased by up to 99%. The increase in consumption occurs to almost across all fuel types. For the 3 kg LPG, it reached 10.4% on the eve of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H compared to daily distribution.
"With this addition, we hope that the public's demand for fuel and LPG can be fulfilled adequately," Riva said.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Irto Ginting added that after fulfilling the fuel and LPG needs during the homecoming period, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to be vigilant in preparing for the Eid al-Fitr holiday and the return flow.
"We continue to monitor fuel and LPG consumption because after the holiday period, tourist attractions are usually crowded. Therefore, we need to ensure that fuel and LPG are sufficient," said Irto.
Pertamina continues to urge the public to access the Pertamina Call Center at 135 if any issues related to fuel and LPG in the field are encountered.
