Banda Aceh, December 24, 2022 - From December 15, 2022, to January 8, 2022, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga's Christmas and New Year Task Force (Satgas Nataru) is on standby on the strategic and tourism route to ensure fuel, LPG and avtur supplies and services reliability for the society.
Area Manager Comm, Rail & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagut Region, Susanto August Satria, said that energy consumption is predicted to rise due to increased community mobility during Christmas and New Year celebrations. Anticipating this, Pertamina has alerted the Nataru Task Force Team, to ensure supplies and other additional services.
"The Pertamina Nataru Task Force Team has been active on duty from December 15, 2022, to January 8, 2023. The Nataru Task Force Team has also coordinated with various relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Transportation, BPH Migas, Police, Jasa Marga, TNI, and various other parties. This coordination is carried out for smooth energy distribution to the community," said Satria.
He admitted that the need for fuel in Aceh, Gasoline consumption (Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo) is estimated to increase by 8 percent or 1,741 KL to 1,891 KL per day. Meanwhile, Gasoil consumption (Solar, Dexlite, Pertamina Dex) is predicted to increase by 3 percent or 1,121 KL to 1,155 KL per day.
An increase is also predicted for LPG consumption of around 1 percent or 368 Metric Tonnes (MT) to 373 MT per day. This projection is compared to average daily sales.
Satria said that all fuel products' stock resistance is more than ten days, LPG is at 20 days, and Avtur is at 61 days and continues to be produced. Fuel, LPG, and Avtur stocks are guaranteed to be sufficient and smooth. This stock does not include stock that will be distributed from refineries and ongoing stock from tankers.
"We emphasize that the public do not need to worry because fuel and LPG stocks are in a sufficient and smooth condition. We will monitor continuously so that it is hoped that the community's need for fuel and LPG can be fulfilled. Regarding the stock, this stock is the running stock today, not yet including cargo from tankers and supplies from refineries, which supply Pertamina's infrastructure every day," he said.
In ensuring that services to the community are well maintained, Pertamina Patra Niaga also provides supporting energy services on potential routes. It includes toll roads, tourist routes, and main traffic routes, in the form of Standby Petrol Stations, SPPBE Siaga, Siaga PSO LPG Agents, Motorists, and Pocket Petrol Stations.
"Among all petrol stations, agents, and LPG outlets, there will be those that we will operate 24 hours during the Christmas and New Year holidays. We will also provide additional services at strategic points. Our focus is on main routes and tourist points that become the community's main destination," he explained.
He also appealed to the public to use fuel wisely and use Pertamina's quality products. Moreover, people entitled to consume subsidized fuel could immediately register for the Right Subsidy Program through the website subsiditepat.mypertamina.id.
“Buy enough and as needed, do not hoard or resell, especially for subsidized fuel, because that is a criminal act," said Satria.
Previously, the Director of Land Engineering and Infrastructure of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga SH C&T, Eduward Adolof Kawi, and the management team conducted a Management Walkthrough (MWT) to several Pertamina Patra Niaga SH C&T operating areas on Sunday (18/12).
