South Nias, Sambas, Hulu Sungai, December 1, 2022 - "Currently, 54 Regencies included in the Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) regions have been served by Pertamina's One Price Fuel distribution agency. This is evidence that Pertamina ensures affordable energy availability throughout Indonesia," said President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Subholding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero), Alfian Nasution (30/11).
As energy distribution's spearhead, Alfian said that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to encourage equal access distribution to affordable energy in supporting the Government's program to realize equitable energy through the One Price Fuel Program that began in 2017. The program's implementation was realized by the One Price Fuel distribution agency inauguration, which was carried out with BPH Migas in three regions simultaneously, namely South Nias, Sambas, and South Hulu Sungai.
"With this inauguration, 402 One Price Fuel distribution agencies spots have officially operated in 125 districts. 81 of them are new channeling agencies. Until December, we will accelerate the other 11 channeling agencies that have been set as targets in 2022," he added.
The One Price Fuel Points distribution focuses on areas outside Java, Madura, and Bali or areas that need access to energy. These areas also present big challenges in the distribution process, especially those considered the 3T area.
"Currently, the One Price Fuel distribution includes 62 in Sumatera, 86 in Kalimantan, 71 in Nusa Tenggara, 44 in Sulawesi, 57 in Maluku, 77 in Papua, and 5 others in Java, Madura, and Bali. For the 3T area, it is common to use various transportation modes for the distribution process. Whether by land, water, and air, there are also four to five, even up to eight transportation changes before the fuel can be consumed by the community," continued Alfian.
To answer this distribution challenge, Alfian said that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to coordinate in ensuring that the distribution process continues to run well. According to him, the One Price Fuel presence to serve sustainably must be balanced with a guaranteed good distribution.
"We thank all Regional Heads for facilitating the One Price Fuel distribution agency presence. In the future, we will continue to coordinate in ensuring that the fuel distribution can run optimally, on time, in the right quantity, and with the right quality to realize synergy in realizing access to affordable energy for the community," he said.
Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati, on the same occasion, said that BPH Migas has the duty and responsibility to ensure and guarantee energy distribution, especially affordable fuel availability throughout Indonesia.
"With this inauguration, 81 distribution agencies from the 92 One Price Fuel spots target in 2022 are already operating. It means there are still tasks to complete for the other 11 locations that must be worked on together. Thank you to all parties involved in supporting the One Price Fuel Program implementation. Hopefully, the benefits of the One Price Fuel presence can be felt directly by the community. Therefore, it can move the wheels of the economy in the 3T region and become an embodiment of just energy for the Indonesian people," said Erika.**
