Jakarta, October 13, 2022 - PT Pertamina (Persero) held Pertapreneur Aggregator, a coaching and mentoring activity for 50 Semi-Finalist MSMEs. Participants are allowed to discuss with the Exclusive Facilitator in private to prepare for the semifinals.
The coaching is divided into six Breakout Rooms (BOR), where each BOR is accompanied by a coach who is a MarkPlus Exclusive Facilitator. Each participant is given one hour to discuss the improvements needed to finalize the business plan that will be presented in the semifinals.
Pertamina supports 50 semi-finalist MSMEs to become MSME aggregators by presenting six coaches. Namely, Aurelius Kuhuwael, Nila Kresna, Arfani, Rininta Hanum, Magdalena Asmayasari, and Satya Bilal.
Coaching participants are expected to analyze their business and potential, identify the root causes of problems in their respective businesses, analyze opportunities and place ideas for collaboration and innovation, as well as analyze opportunities for innovation implementation.
One of the participants in the competition for this pertapreneur aggregator program is Jegg Boy & Girl. This fostered partner from Salatiga city is engaged in the service sector, specifically local motorcycle taxi services. Jegg Boy & Girl provides shopping services at traditional markets.
Sahono, the owner of Jegg Boy & Girl, said that the business concept he runs is "dibelanjain", in which shopping services at traditional markets aim to lift traditional markets. Hence they can survive and not be eroded by modern markets.
Previously, an approach was made to traders in traditional markets to partner with us to fulfill the demand for consumer food needs. The approach was related to quality goods' availability and price agreements.
"We have partnered with traders in 2 major markets. We have approached partners. We even have prepared environmentally friendly shopping bags, so we do not use plastic bags," said Sahono.
Collaboration with traders in traditional markets is a mutually beneficial partnership. We carry out our respective roles and responsibilities where traders provide fresh, clean, and quality products while we provide good service to maintain consumer loyalty.
"Until now, there are 230 active drivers ready to serve consumers for shopping. 40% of which are women and under 35 years old," he said.
Similarly, Bambang Trimulyo, the owner of Bakmi Harjo, currently developing his business through Mina Bahari 45, a Factory Sharing or Joint Production House aims to accommodate MSMEs. He will carry out sterilization and canning processes for processed products, such as marine fish, various chili sauces, gudeg, and other processed food products.
Mina Bahari 45 has pocketed an international HACCP certificate for export and has collaborated with 35 MSMEs spread across the Java island, Sulawesi, and Kalimantan. Business actors can carry out the food canning process with industrial and hygienic packaging.
"I have collaborated with other MSMEs. They bring their products to the Joint Production House to be packaged and sold," said Bambang.
Bambang also said that the canned food packaged at Mina Bahari 45 is ready-to-eat food with a shelf life of up to 1 year without preservatives. Therefore, consumers can consume it directly without processing it, and safe.
"Hopefully, I can continue to qualify in this Pertapreneur Aggregator competition so that I can introduce Exotic Food Nusantara produced by MSMEs abroad," he said.
VP of CSR & SMEPP of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said that the MSME aggregator was needed to be a network collaboration from Pertamina's fostered partners to accelerate the MSME industry's growth in Indonesia and to encourage and increase human resource capacity through digitalization.
"The collaboration between the fostered partners is expected to be carefully designed. Therefore, it benefits both parties in the short and long term," she added.
Fajriyah continued, through the UMK Funding Program, Pertamina aims to provide energy that can move the economy-energy that fuels and energy that produces sustainable growth. As well as trying to continue to encourage each partner to become advanced and Go Global MSEs.
