PHR - Sumatera Regional Inaugurates HSSE Corner at PHE Siak

Kampar, April 11, 2023 - The President Director of Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR)-Regional 1 Sumatera Subholding Upstream Pertamina, Jaffee Arizon Suardin, inaugurated the HSSE Corner initiated by Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Siak during a Management Walk Through (MWT) visit to the Lindai field, on Tuesday (28/3). The HSSE Corner inauguration was attended by Regional Safety Manager 1, Sidik Mastrilianto, PHR Corporate Secretary, Rudi Ariffianto, with the Rokan Work Area Management (WK) team. Meanwhile, from PHE Siak, the Acting Field Manager of PHE Siak, Fertian Eka Purnama, and the management of PHE Siak were welcomed.

This HSSE Corner is an innovation from PHE Siak workers for easier access to HSSE campaign materials such as safety campaigns, policies, and so on. The HSSE Corner was created by utilizing the shelter at the Lindai Gathering Station (GS), a place for the Lindai GS workers to gather and rest.

During the visit, the Director of PHR, Jaffee Arizon Suardin, appreciate the HSSE Corner. "The HSSE Corner is a very good innovation, and it is hoped to be replicated in workers' rest areas in other WK and fields," said Jaffee.

Acting Field Manager of PHE Siak, Fertian Eka Purnama, explained that the interesting thing at the HSSE Corner is that it has a "Scan Me" feature for access to the Virtual Demo Room, and workers can access the complete Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR) material and even attend CLSR training. "There are also flow charts and clear guidelines for intervening (Stop Work Authority) if there are unsafe conditions or irregularities at work. This, at the same time, gives confidence to workers in carrying out interventions," explained Fertian.

After inaugurating the HSSE Corner, the PHR Managing Director and Management group visited the Lindai 30 location, where there was rig well services work. During the visit, Safety Manager Regional 1, Sidik Mastrilianto, provided socialization on safety transformation to all workers and work partners who were at the rig location.**
