Jakarta, February 11, 2023 - To directly observe PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) as Subholding Upstream Pertamina's processes and work activities, which is engaged in the upstream oil and gas sector with assets and production facilities that are widely spread throughout the country and abroad, the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, and member of Pertamina's Board of Commissioners, Rida Mulyana, held a Management Walkthrough (MWT) activity directly at the PHE head office, Thursday (09/02).
This observation from Pertamina's Board of Commissioners, led directly by the President Commissioner, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or who is more familiarly called Ahok, is also a form of hospitality and communication from Pertamina's commissioners as the supervisory board with the Board of Directors and Pertamina officers in the Subholding Upstream work environment.
In this MWT activity, Pertamina's Board of Commissioners was welcomed and accompanied directly by the entire Board of Directors and PHE's management, which at the same time explained some of the achievements and performance carried out by Subholding Upstream Pertamina.
On this occasion, the Board of Directors and the PHE management explained their performance in the Command Center room as the Subholding Upstream performance data provider at the PHE head office through one of the leading innovation programs initiated in 2018, a collaboration between several functions, namely Exploration, Production, IT, HSSE, and Upstream Innovation PHE, namely the XD World PHE (eXplore Digital World PHE) digital platform.
The Board of Commissioners of Pertamina appreciates PHE's performance so far and is ready to fully support several work plans in the future, especially regarding the challenges for PHE to access and integrate data types.
"I appreciate the PHE Officers' performance who have made several innovations, especially in the field of exploration, which we want to understand more deeply. And this is an important record for us as supervisors to continue convincing the government that Pertamina is capable of achieving its best performance," said Ahok.
In line with Ahok, Rida Mulyana also assured the Board of Directors to continue to make the latest breakthroughs to achieve the government's target of 1 million barrels per day (bopd) of petroleum and 12 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day (bscfd) in 2030.
During the Pertamina's Board of Commissioners visit, the Board of Directors and management of PHE were grateful for several inputs provided regarding asset integrity, an important issue to pay attention to in order to support sustainable production and operations implementation following occupational safety and environmental principles.**
