Cilacap, March 10, 2023 - The Turn Around Agenda (TA) for the Cilacap Refinery is an important event that requires a long preparation, and its impact can affect the operational performance of the refinery. Thus, the expected results can boost better operations and impact fuel supplies and the company's business continuity.
This statement was conveyed by the General Manager of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) RU IV Cilacap, Edy Januari Utama, at the Grand Safety Talk (GST) of Refinery I RU IV, at Gate 2 of the Cilacap Refinery, on Thursday (2/3/2023)
Moreover, he advised that the main priority for the 2023 Refinery TA I implementation was to ensure that all workers could work safely without any incidents, "As the leader of the company, I strictly request and instruct that all work must begin with a Tool Box Meeting, be wary of high-risk work, identify work risks and understand their mitigation according to the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) in the work area," he ordered.
It is known that this year's PT KPI RU IV Cilacap's Refinery I TA will be held at Fuel Oil Complex (FOC) I, Lube Oil Complex (LOC) I, II, III, Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU), and Refinery Utilities I.
The GST Refinery I RU IV Cilacap was attended by the President Director of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI), Taufik Adityawarman, with the Director of Operational of PT KPI, Didik Bahagia, Acting VP of Reliability, Eko Sunarno, and VP of HSSE, Aqwamus Shoif.

Furthermore, he reminded that the HSSE regulations scope includes Daily Check Up Compliance, PPE utilization compliance, Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR) implementation, and consistency in implementing Safe Work Permits (SIKA), JSA, and Toolbox Meeting activities before working.
According to him, through these risk prevention efforts, a safe and secure work culture will be formed. Therefore, every work carried out produces maximum results, "An incident can occur anywhere and at any time due to unsafe behavior and conditions. These two causes must be our concern, do not let us be careless or forget, and the most important thing is to prioritize safety," he emphasized.
He also did not forget to remind that there is a reward and consequence policy that applies to organic workers and implementing contractors, "Thank you to the workers and partners involved in the work of TA Refinery I for the support of skills and minds for the TA RU IV success," he conveyed.
GST is filled with reading the commitment of all contractor workers as a basis for agreement on fulfilling HSSE aspects and achieving TA work that is safe, secure, of the right quality, on time, and environmentally friendly. This commitment was read out by the Chairperson of the Cilacap Oil and Gas Contractors Association (HKMC), Eko Purnomo, and then signed by the Director of PT Sankyu Indonesia Internasional, the Director of PT Guna Teguh Abadi, the Board of Directors of PT KPI, VP and GM of PT KPI RU IV, and the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations (SMOM), and the Manager of HSSE of RU IV.
