Jakarta, October 3, 2022 – Pertamina's commitment and active role as one of the Indonesian SOEs in the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program is considered capable of creating sustainable economic and social value to move the national economy. For this, Pertamina received the 2022 CSR Award in Economics.
Republika, who gave the award, added that Pertamina could integrate social issues and challenges into creating economic value, including facilitating efforts to empower MSMEs aligned with the company's operations.
"This is Republika's first event specifically for CSR. We do it as gratitude to corporations who are serious about their CSR programs that truly empower the community," said Republika's Editor-in-Chief, Irfan Junaidi.
Pertamina has long played a constructive role in creating a better ecosystem by assisting MSMEs to develop and become independent.

Thus, MSMEs can be strong and independent while providing multiplier effects on the economy.
