Jakarta, April 2, 2023 - To welcome the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of SOEs with PT PGN Tbk held an SOE Ramadhan Safari 2023 in Krukut Village, West Jakarta, on Thursday (30/03/2023). This activity was held to provide benefits and blessings in the Holy Month of Ramadan for the surrounding community.
1,000 cheap basic food packages were distributed to the people of Krukut Village. The food packages sold at IDR 55,000 consist of 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of oil, and 1 kg of sugar. People who want to buy the basic food packages must register according to their respective RW areas by bringing their ID cards and coupons distributed to each RT. The distribution of cheap basic food packages was enthusiastically welcomed by the district head and residents around Krukut.
This cheap basic food bazaar provides an opportunity for residents to get basic needs at affordable prices during this Ramadan month.
In addition to cheap groceries, there is an MSME bazaar from residents around the Krukut Village who sell various takjil and free homecoming registration. This free homecoming is targeted to attract approximately 50 participants and will depart on April 18, 2023.
Taman Sari sub-district head, Agus Sulaiman, expressed his gratitude for the program initiated by the Ministry of SOE and PGN. Agus hoped that PGN's CSR program could continue and have a positive impact on Krukut Village.
"Thank you very much (to SOE and PGN), with the hope that Insha Allah it will not only be limited to this bazaar activity. We still hope that from existing activities, other CSR programs can help the Krukut Village residents and have a positive impact on us," said Agus (30/3/2023).
Corporate Secretary of PGN, Rachmat Hutama, hopes that the cheap basic food packages can benefit the community and improve the good relations between SOE and the Krukut people. Especially in this Ramadan month, as well as a form of PGN's activities with the Ministry of SOEs to spread good energy, people are assisted with their daily basic needs. During the homecoming period later, it is hoped that it can help people who want to celebrate Eid with their families in their hometown through the homecoming program with SOEs.
"The growing sense of gratitude for the company's fortune and achievements is also shared with the community. Therefore, it creates energy to share, following the spirit of energizing your life to bring benefits to the surroundings. This is also part of SOE social responsibility," said Rachmat
The Krukut people participated in expressing their joy after receiving cheap food packages and praying for PGN's continued success in the future.
"It is nice to get cheap basic food packages during Ramadan. It contains sugar, rice, and oil, which is very helpful for household expenses. Good luck to PGN and success in the future,” said Tari (36), a resident of Krukut Village.**
